Washing instructions are printed on the back of every garment label. We recommend the following procedure:

  1. Hand-wash in luke warm water using a suitable mild detergent.
  2. Rinse well in luke warm water and squeeze out excess water.
  3. To retain the oil in the wool add a few drops of oil (olive, baby) to the final rinse.
  4. Carefully spin out the remaining water and lay out flat to dry.
  5. Please do not hang it up or Tumble Dry

A first time buyer with Black Sheep.
An excellent jacket with very helpful advice from Robert with regard to sizing. It’s so warm and really looking forward to wearing it in the winter months. Overall very good service from Black Sheep. Wish they sold more products as using British wool and British manufacturing is by far the best in my opinion.

Kann ich nur weiterempfehlen. Die Lieferung hat eine Woche gedauert, also relativ sehr schnell. Würde da wieder kaufen, haben supertolle englische Qualitätsprodukte.

This will see me out

I bought this sweater in the mid-1990s on Prince Edward Island and stowed it away, wearing it only occasionally. Now, with energy costs high and the house cool, I pulled the cardigan off the shelf only to find the moths had been busy. A couple of hours later the holes are repaired, the dark grey sweater feels wonderful, and it has found its place nearly thirty years later, looking nearly new.
